With my Beach Themed classroom, I have a monetary system where students earn sand dollars for attendance, behavior and academics. Rather than a classroom store, I have a special activity that the students work for which are called beach parties. the beach parties are quite popular with the students and will create memories that your students will cherish.
I give 9-10 parties a year and have included 16 ideas for beach parties. Also included is the classroom currency, and a foldable for your interactive notebook.
