Four games aligned to the common core in order to review plurals, compound words, prefixes, and contractions.
For the Plurals game, students will match the word with the corresponding card that has the plural word on it. They will record the plural word on the recording sheet next to the letter that represents the original singular word.
For the compound words game, students will match two words together in order to create compound words. They will record the compound word on the recording sheet next to the letter that is represented on the card.
For the prefixes game, students will sort the words into groups using their prefixes. They will record them under the correct prefix on the recording sheet.
For the contractions game, students will match the contraction with the two words that it represents. They will record the two words on the recording sheet, matching it with the letter on the contraction card.
Games can be played individually or in groups!
