Passkey Press' Bean Counting Game incorporates counting and simple addition.
Designed with several levels, Bean Counting encompasses the diverse population of students in early learning classrooms and special education from beginner to advanced. Because some of the levels switch back and forth between sum and equation or number and counting, it teaches students how to look at addition and counting from different angles.
Basic Level for students who are not ready for addition: Use only the counting jar. Place a number on the lid and have the student place the correct number of beans into the jar.
Level 1: Adding single digit numbers to nine.
Level 2: Intermediate Level is for students who are ready to count in the double digits up to 18.
Level 3: Advanced level: Students will count out the beans and place the sum in the box. They will then create the equation for the sum.
Level 4: Independent work: Set out all of the numbers and have the student fill in both the equation and the sum.
