Students will practice skip counting on 4 different hundreds charts
This allows students to see that patterns work similarly no matter what hundreds place they are in, which is a big concept for 2nd-4th graders to grasp.
They will look under the foot of a counting bear that has a skip counting rule like +3 or +7 on it. Then the student will place the bear on the hundreds chart at the first number of the pattern set that is on the workmat. They will write the rule they got from the bear's feet and then they will start recording where the bear travels as he skip counts by the rule.
Great for centers or independent work.
