Everybody loves Bear and his friends and the story Bear Wants More is no exception. Students will love reading about Bear in the springtime, waking after a long winter's nap. Students will practice drawing conclusions filling out a chart. They can write complete sentences or use bullets to fill out the chart. In addition, a rhyming page with some words that rhyme but do not belong to the same word family gives students' good practice at listening for the sound. Use the pages together (back to back) or separately; it is sure to be a fun spring activity for you and your class.
