This is a supplemental worksheet for students for when they play "Bears in a Cave." To play that game, each student will be partnered up. They will start with a certain number of plastic manipulative bears, and then the student that is 'it' will hide some of the bears inside the 'cave' or the plastic bowl while the students partner closes his/her eyes. They will then open them and try to figure out how many are hidden.
This worksheet is for students to keep track of their ideas. Through this, students are learning about composing and decomposing numbers, fact families, as well as addition and subtraction skills!
Have fun and hope the sheet helps!
