This activity is to help your students memorize the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-11) in a fun, unique way, while practicing handwriting/tracing, cutting, pasting, matching and sentence ordering skills. This can be used with students as young as preschool.
For each of the Beatitudes trace and cut-out pages, there are two gluing “options” pages. The first is a “Match and Glue” activity page that assists the students in correctly ordering the Bible verses. It has the words printed in light gray in the boxes. The second option is more challenging, because the boxes that the student glues the Bible verse together on are blank. You can use either option, or both, depending on the level and needs of your student. Please download my free preview/demo file to see for yourself.
This activity packet is a perfect supplement to your study of the Beatitudes. It could be used for at-home Bible memorization with your child, in a Sunday school class, as a literacy center activity, or as homework. Once your student completes each verse, you can put them up on a “memory verse wall.”

The ESV Bible translation is used for the verses found in this packet.
