Writers use Beautiful Language (Adjectives) Chart
Writers use beautiful language to describe a scene in narrative writing, give details to facts in non-fiction writing and be more convincing in persuasive writing. Beautiful language paints a picture in the reader's mind with words. Encourage your students to use their senses to describe their ideas. This student friendly chart included adjectives with colorful icons so it is easy to find words. You can give each student a copy of this chart to keep in his or her writing folder for reference. Use it across genres such as, poetry, how-to, fantasy, and realistic fiction. This is especially helpful for your lower level writers, ELL students, and students with special needs. A great way to offer differentiated tools for your writers.
