When learning about a region (city, state/province, country, etc.) or sharing vacation stories, let students complete this front/back printable travel guide in which they become travel agents and seek to promote a particular location!
There is much flexibility afforded to the teacher to tailor this project based on the curriculum and needs of the students.
For example, the map section can be used in differentiated instruction. Lower-level students can be asked to cut and paste a map of their location, while higher-level students can be asked to draw the map, including, if desired, points of interest (such as capital/major cities, physical features, etc.). Therefore, this project can be adapted for a diverse range of needs and goals.
Document includes 1 instructional page, 2-page front/back travel guide template, 2-page front/back sample travel guide, and 1 copyright page.
