Product Description
It is inevitable that at some point during the course of a school year that your students will experience some type of change in their lives (death, divorce, new school, etc). It is difficult for children to understand why things have to change and how to cope with change. This activity includes an overview about how a caterpillar changes into a butterfly. After you discuss the life cycle of a butterfly to your student/s lead a discussion by asking the included open-ended questions. This is designed to lead a discussion aimed at helping the child or children understand that change is a normal part of life and to help them identify strengths in themselves that can assist in coping with that change.
