Bee & Butterfly Launch is sure to get your students "buzzing" with excitement over speech therapy!
59 print-and-go articulation pages targeting 23 different phonemes + 1 verb page. Students blow through a straw to launch their paper insect onto the targeted flower after practicing a speech word. This speech bee/butterfly activity is used to engage children while working on speech sounds and oral motor skills at the same time!!
You also need:
A straw for each student
Scissors & tape
1.) Print desired flower pages for target practice and a bee or butterfly page. (The insect rockets come in black & white for students to color.)
2.) Cut out the squares and bees/butterflies.
3.) Fold and tape the paper square around the end of a straw to create a launchable paper tube.
4.) Tape a bee or butterfly on the front of your paper tube.
5.) Place the flower pages in sheet protectors for easy binder storage and durability.
6.) Place the insect on the end of a straw. Have the student tell you which flower they’re aiming for by practicing the target word beneath.
7.) After the desired number of repetitions, the student gets to aim the insect, blow through the straw, and see if the butterfly lands on the intended flower!
