Bee Mine- Valentine's Day Themed Literacy Stations
Bee Mine Middles- students produce the middle (short vowel) sound in CVC words.
Bee Mine CVC- using the same cards as Bee Mine Middles, students produce the beginning, middle, and ending sounds of CVC and spell the word correctly.
Love Notes- students “write the room” to read and record kindergarten high frequency words.
Sweet Syllables- students count and record the number of syllables in one, two, three, and four syllable words.
Scrambled Sentences- students read word cards and put the cards in order to produce four different sentences.
In Love- students can use these cards to produce beginning, ending, or beginning and ending sounds of words.
Valentine Colors- students play memory, go fish, or simply match colored valentines and color words. A coloring page is included to assess knowledge of color words.
