This product was made to use as a number line for the students to line up on in the classroom. It can also be used as a generic number line in your classroom for whatever works best for you!
I teach kindergarten and personal space and lining up can be difficult at the beginning of the year! This number line will give students a visual to stand on and help them line up in a straight line.
When having students line up, you can also reinforce number identification by telling students to go and stand on a specific number. I also made the number line with two different colors in case you wanted to place them in a pattern and have students line up by a specific color such as “stand on yellow” or “stand on orange.”
I printed mine on cardstock, laminated them, and attached them to the floor. I have a hard floor in my classroom so I can attach them with tape, Velcro, or lay self laminate over the top to secure them to the floor. If you have carpet, you would have to try some other options to secure them to the floor, such as velcro!
I have included yellow and orange honey combs with the numbers 1-30 on them for those of you who have larger classrooms!
