I structure my nonfiction unit around "before, during, and after" reading strategies. These worksheets are a helpful tool that students can use to work through the different reading strategies they should use as they read informational texts. These are a great resource to have handy during independent reading and small groups, or to use as part of your sub plans.

Included are three two-page worksheets for the before, during, and after strategies, along with a poster that you can display or copy at a reduced size to glue in reading interactive notebooks.

The worksheets are meant to be used together with one nonfiction book, but each worksheet can be used on its own.

This pairs really nicely with my Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry Reading Brochures!
