This is a great chart to help your students generate questions as they listen to or read a story. They would be great for independent practice or whole class instruction.
The paper is divided into before, during, and after sections. There is a spot for the students to create 2 questions for each part of the story.
My students enjoyed using the question words at the bottom to help them create their questions. It was great scaffolding for my students who needed the reminder of how to start their questions. You can challenge students by having them focus on creating questions with the bold words to encourage higher thinking!
