Here are two versions of the 'Before and After' game to help reinforce number sense. Students can play in pairs or by themselves. These games work great when put inside page protectors and use whiteboard markers to play over and over!
Game 1 - Roll two dice and use those numbers to make a 2 digit number. Example, roll a 4 and a 6 can be either 46 or 64. That 2 digit number goes in the box and then students print the numbers that come before and after.
Game 2 - Simpler version. Roll two dice and add them together. 4+6=10. That number goes in the box and students print the numbers that come before and after.
Variation - use 8, 10 or 12 sided dice to increase the difficulty.
