This is a fun activity that can be played independently or it can be used as a practice worksheet or homework page.
You can fill in the middle boxes with numbers and then distribute to students OR you can give the student a pair of dice and they can roll to create a two digit number to write into the box. Then, they will have to figure out what is 1 more/1 less or 2 more/2 less or 10 more/10 less. You can decide how you want your student to solve what comes before and after.
The first page I gave a number as an example and did not state how to find the number before and after. The second page I left completely blank so you can dictate how you want the activity to go. The third page I wrote underneath the lines to find 1 less/2 less/1 more/2 more.
To extend the activity to second graders or struggling third graders, you can give the student three dies and they can roll to create a three digit number. Then, they can find 100 less and 100 more of that number that they created.
Enjoy! Thank you for your purchase!
