Counting Legs:

Charles and Tina were visiting their Aunt Petunia’s Ranch. There were many chickens and pigs in the barn. Tina counted 32 legs. How many chickens and pigs might there have been?

Figure T:
Nine one-centimeter cubes are put together to make a “T”. If the complete figure is painted blue, how many cubes have exactly four blue faces? How are the remaining cubes painted?

Flash Felix:
Flash Felix scored 37 pts in his last game. Flash can score 1 point, 2 points, or 3 points on a shot. How might he have scored 37 points?
