    Description

These interactive, digital digraphs resources provide fun, engaging practice for the beginning digraphs sh, th, ch, wh and the ending digraphs -sh, -th, -ch, -ck using sorts, mazes, and hunts.

These self-checking, low prep sets of digital task cards help your students become fluent in both recognizing the sound and the spelling of the digraphs.

Includes several different types of sorting activities:

    1. Starts / Ends with the digraph, Does NOT start / end with the digraph - Students sort 6 picture cards by dragging and dropping them to the correct column on the clipboard according to whether the picture ends or starts with the digraph or does not end or start with the digraph.

    2. Distinguish between 2 digraphs - Students sort 6 picture cards by dragging and dropping them to the correct column on the clipboard according to the picture's beginning or ending digraph. For example, they choose between "Ends or Starts with sh" or "Ends or Starts with ch".

    3. Four-column sorts - Students sort picture cards under the correct digraph heading. This helps students discriminate between the beginning and ending sounds of all the digraphs.

    4. Four-column sort - Students sort digraph cards under the correct pictures. This helps students visually discriminate between the spellings of all the digraphs

Also includes mazes, both beginning and ending digraph mazes. Students click on the correct pictures that lead from the start of the maze to the finish.

Digraph hunts that help students recognize the spelling (letter pairs) of each digraph are also included. Students look at picture clues and find and click the correct digraph. The digraphs are shown in several different fonts.

Sounds are included for each picture so students can hear the word.

Please see the preview files for examples of each type of activity as well as playable previews.
