Beginning Letter Sounds Activity
This activity allow children to engage their pre-reading skills (phonemic awareness) by identifying beginning letter sounds of various images. It is also perfect for children with Autism and a Special Education classroom.
The pages must be printed on photo paper and laminated. Use some velcro in the middle of each blank space. The cards with letters must be cut out. Use some velcro on the back side of each of them.
The pictures included in this activity: apple, ball, coconut, dog, egg, frog, goose, hamster, igloo, jug, key, lion, monkey, nut, owl, ostrich, pumpkin, quilt, robot, stool, turtle, urn, violin, wheel, xylophone, yogurt, zucchini.
