After beginning level German students learn about animals, colors, numbers, and other exploratory topics, this project may be used as an assessment. Students should bring in a stuffed animal or other visual aide, such as a drawing or photo, as their "Lieblingstier". I've provided a lot of scaffolding on the worksheet, which guides them in writing a description of their animal to present to the class, as I did this project with a quarter-long middle school Exploratory German course. You may take away the examples to make it suit more advanced learners.
