Phis powerpoint contains 16 slides with questions using vocabulary generally presented in the first few weeks of a first year Spanish course. Although I would have loved to share the clipart I use with the powerpoints I make, I have removed the clipart due to copyright regulations. My suggestion is to search clipart online by using the Spanish term followed by ‘picture image’. You should be able to find great clipart, both authentic photos as well as illustrated pictures, all wonderful for classroom use. The teacher can attach the image in the space provided.
With this powerpoint, a teacher can introduce and reinforce vocabulary and grammar through authentic dialogue, and visuals, engaging students in an interactive activity of question/answer progressing through the sequence of slides. Students can write the answers to the questions as the teacher proceeds through the inquiry process. The teacher can also customize the powerpoint of course by modifying questions and adding or deleting slides. This activity usually takes at least 30 minutes.
