This little mini-anchor chart can be laminated or displayed on your Elmo or Smart Board during your introduction or review of beginning, middle and end to help your students understand ways they can retell a story. After introducing beginning, middle and end, I have included a a differentiated writing activity for your students.
*Differentiation: One activity can be used for older grades/above level students that are able to write out the key details on the beginning, middle and end story map… and the other can be used for younger grades/lower level students to draw pictures of what happened at the beginning, middle and end on their story map. :)
