Beginning Sound Clip Cards: Center Activity

Hands on activity to help students practice hearing and identifying beginning sounds/initial consonants.

Studies have shown that students learn the best when they are participating in hands on activities. Giving kids an opportunity to use more than one sense during a learning activity helps create pathways that ensure they are retaining the information.

Students will love picking up a circle board and using a clothespin to identify the beginning sound. This is an awesome way to not only practice letter sounds, but give our little ones some extra fine motor practice as well!
