This "Beginning Sound Hunt" activity/center is a part of the September Centers Bundle!
Students will match words with their beginning sounds. They can record the objects they found by writing the word or drawing a picture on their accountability sheet.
Standard covered: RF.K.3.A and B (Review) A. Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant.
B. Associate the long and short sounds with the common spellings (graphemes) for the five major vowels.
