Beginning Sounds Mystery Words: Set 2 (20 more cards)!
Everyone loves a mystery so I have created a second set of 20 Mystery Word Cards for more Reading Mystery fun!
Your children will have a blast practicing beginning sounds while uncovering mystery words. Simply print, laminate and cut into cards so your children can use dry erase markers or crayons to write on and wipe off beginning sounds to uncover a mystery word.
How can I use the cards?
Use these cards during Daily 5/Literacy Center Work on Writing or Word Work or in your children's independent workboxes! Or...print this packet 2 or 4 to a page to create a worksheet
How do you play?
Read the picture and write the beginning sound in the box. (i.e. watermelon, elephant, tornado = /w/ /e/ /t/ = wet
Then, record the word and illustrate the word!
Key to the cards (in order of packet):
bad, fed, cab, get, hip, can, kit, van, log, vet, mop, set, rug, rip, sun, fit, pot, bun, jog, bug
