These picture cards are great for multiple uses in your classroom!
Picture Cards (2 sets for each letter)
Alphabet cards (3 sets)
Uppercase and lowercase on the same card
Ideas for use:
Play concentration/memory: Turn the cards over. Player 1 picks a card and finds another card with the same beginning sound. If they get it correct, they get to keep the cards! If they don’t, the next player goes. Continue until all pairs have been found! This can also be played with the letter cards and one set of picture cards!
Pocket Chart Beginning Sound Sort: Sort the pictures under the correct beginning sound.
Write the Room: Place the pictures on the walls around the room. The students then go around the room writing down the beginning sound for each picture (you can number the pictures for an easy way to record and keep your students accountable)
These are just a few ideas. There are MANY more things you can use with these picture cards!
