Beginning Sound Puzzles from A-Z is a fun way to students to work on Recognizing and naming all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet. Isolate and pronounce the initial sound of words. Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant and recognize that spoken words are represented in written language by specific sequences of letters.
I have included a black and white set and a color set of puzzles for you to choose from. As well two different types of puzzle boards. Puzzle boards can be used for students to glue their puzzle together or you can add Velcro to the back of the puzzle pieces and to the board for students to attach pieces to.
I recommend printing the puzzles on card stock and laminating them so they can be reused for future use.
I have included an I can poster for center use.
