I am always looking for new ways for my emerging readers to practice their letter sounds. Letter-Sound fluency is a necessary skill for developing readers to acquire. This newly updated product includes 10 spinner sets
that have students comparing picture to picture
(zebra and zipper) for the beginning sound and 8 more spinner sets
that let your students determine whether the letter and sound
go together (y, yarn). Also included is a recording sheet with a "yes" and "no" table where your students can record whether or not the 2 spins are a match or not.
Simply print the spinners on card stock, laminate if desired, and add a pencil and paperclip as the spinner. Copy the recording sheets and slice in half. The recording sheet fit perfectly on mini clipboards so they are portable and can be used anywhere in your classroom. This activity is extremely low prep for you and your students will enjoy this! Spinner games are really loved by my students so I'm sure yours will be actively engaged as well. One final note, there are color and B&W versions of each spinner to meet your printing preferences.
As always, do not forget to leave a rating and feedback for this and all of your purchases. You will earn future TPT credits for doing so. If you have any concerns, do not hesitate to contact me via email at email@example.com.
