Students need multiple opportunities to work on identifying the beginning sounds in words. Task cards keep students engaged and active while learning and reviewing new skills.
How to use...
1.Give each student a recording sheet. You can differentiate this activity by giving students the ten or twenty task card page depending on their ability.
2.Students will say the word on a task card and write the beginning sound next to the correct number on their recording sheet.
3.Students will continue this until they have completed each task card. Recording sheets are included for students to complete ten or twenty task cards at a time.
