Beginning Sound Workbooks are a super supplement to your literacy library! This packet includes 118 pages of no prep, ready to print meaningful activities to support the development of individual sounds.
Four sounds are highlighted to ensure ample practice opportunities for each sound: o, h, w, z. There are 13+ pages per sound of meaningful activities to assist your students in: producing the sound out loud, establishing letter/sound correspondence, hearing the sound at the beginning of words, discriminating the target beginning sound from others, sorting sounds, matching upper and lower case letters, writing letters, and more!
A special feature of the packet is the inclusion of a set of tools for teachers to use in the classroom. For each sound, there is a Pictionary of Words, individual picture cards for classroom use including classroom games, and Bingo cards. This is a tremendous timesaver that hits the mark for sound development! There is a Pre-Post Test that you can begin and end the packet with in order to assess your student’s progress.
