I hope you enjoy this bundle of all of my circle maps! These are such great things to use in the classroom. The folder contains a PDF for each letter of the alphabet. On the instruction sheet of each letter there is a list of each picture used to lessen confusion.
I use these circle maps to introduce beginning sounds, practice beginning sounds, and check for understanding of beginning sounds. These circle maps come with pictures for students to choose which pictures begin with the sound that they are studying.
Extension activities: Have early finishers write the words using invented spelling and generate more words that begin with the chosen sound.
Whole Class Activity: I enlarge the circle map and let the students generate words that begin with the sound that we are studying while I draw them on the circle map. At Center Time, students are encouraged to draw new items on the class circle map and write the words for each item using invented spelling.
Keep checking my store for my pack of long vowel circle maps. Coming Soon!
