This is an engaging Halloween themed beginning sounds matching activity which would be GREAT for a literacy center. Students use a clothes pin or paper clip to choose the beginning sound for the picture on the card. Print on card stock, laminate, cut, and you are ready to use. Great activity for word work centers or finished work. Students will love moving the clothespin or paper clip to the correct pumpkin that matches the pictures beginning sound. Write a star on the back of the correct pumpkin for self checking. There is also a worksheet for additional practice-match the letter (on the pumpkin) to the picture- cut and paste.
