Beginning Sounds Hunt & Find PowerPoint

Are you learning beginning sounds? Who couldn't use 15-20 minutes of quiet time in your room? Yes! You can get that amount of time to do teacher duties while your students are engaged using this PowerPoint! Prepare by copying the worksheet. Then have students pull out a crayon or highlighter. Press play on the powerpoint and the work is done for you! Students look at the picture word on the slide and they find the letter the word starts with on their page. They can either trace the letter with a highlighter, crayon or pencil. The slides give students 55 sec. to read the word and find it before it starts to slowly slide to the next page.

Slides cannot be edited, but the time between transitions can be! You can adjust how fluent your students are with how quickly the slides change. This pack also includes something special! You can decide which beginning letter sounds your students focus on and create a worksheet with my template. Then just delete the slides from the game you don't need and you have a brand new game for your students! This game covers all 26 letters in the alphabet.
