These low prep, printable practice pages help students learn or review beginning sounds (letter sounds).

Each page features a unique character whose name begins with the featured letter as well as a unique theme. Students make a connection between the character and page theme and the letter's sound.

The variation of the pages keep students engaged and interested. They love trying to guess the next character!

Students strengthen their fine motor skills by cutting out the pictures along the side and pasting the pictures with the correct beginning sound in the designated areas.

They also practice their handwriting by writing the featured letter or a word that begins with the letter (it can be a word from the page or one that they think up on their own). See example pages in the preview file.

These beginning sound pages can be quickly printed and set out (no prep!) and used for centers, morning work, homework, early finishers or class work. When all pages are finished they can be bound together as a book that students can use for reference.

You receive 27 pages (one for each letter of the alphabet, 2 pages for the letter X) and printable answer keys (one for each letter page).
