This is a learner centered activity to practice beginning sounds AND practice fine motor control at the same time. This is a series of printables that have three learning levels, easier sounds to distinguish, intermediate sounds, and more difficult sounds. It can be put in a literacy station for independent practice or used as morning work.
Directions: Students look at the picture and hole punch its beginning sound, working on early reading skills and fine motor control.
The prep work is easy: print, copy, then get ready for punching!
I serve Dual Language students, so I made a similar game in English. It is called "Beginning Sounds Punch in English."
Thanks for visiting my store! I hope to get more Dual Language activities on here very soon. Check back often. :)
