Beginning Sounds practice with these No Prep Printables! Interactive letter practice that kids will love!
Students spin the spinner made from their pencil and a paperclip. Find one picture that begins with that letter (or beginning sound) then color it. Students could also use bingo daubers instead of crayons. Some pictures on each page do not begin with the spinner letters. Students will learn to discriminate which pictures do and do not begin with those letters. These are perfect for literacy stations!
There are 16 printables in this set; 2 sets of 8 each set. Choose the set you want to use:
*Set 1 matches letters to beginning sounds
*Set 2 matches picture to picture using initial sounds of the pictures
In both sets the letters are grouped as follows:
1: m, f, d
2: b, s, i
3: a, p, g
4: l, w, t
5: n, c, y
6: k, r, u
7: h, o, z
8: v, j, q
