This is an original short novel in Spanish called, "El cuento de Alejandra Valero." This is a copyright-protected, 30-40 page story (depending on the font you decide to print it with) written entirely in Spanish, but geared for end of first year or second year Spanish language students. It is similar in concept to Pobre Ana by Blaine Ray, but will appeal much more to middle school or high school students. It is the story of a sixteen year old girl who plays the guitar and deals with the pressures that come with being a teenager (grades, boys, parents, etc). THIS IS THE FIRST IN A TWO-NOVEL SERIES. The second novel is also available on this site for download. A third novel may be written in the near future. The story's author is my actual name. Also included are homework assignments and a test to accompany the reading. Each purchase allows the purchaser to use this novel in his or her classroom and may be shared with other teachers in his or her building only.
