This is an original short novel in Spanish called, "Alejandra en la manzana grande." It is the second story in a series of short Spanish novels. This is a copyright-protected, 30-40 page story (depending on the font you decide to print it with) written entirely in Spanish, but geared for second or early third- year Spanish language-learning students. It is similar in concept to Pobre Ana by Blaine Ray, but will appeal much more to middle school or high school students. It is the story of a sixteen year old girl who plays the guitar and deals with the pressures that come with being a teenager. In this novel, she wins a trip to New York and we follow her in her adventures. The story's author is my actual name. Also included are homework assignments and a test to accompany the reading. Each purchase allows the purchaser to use this novel in his or her classroom and may be shared with other teachers in his or her building only.
