This resources is for students who are just beginning to work with trig identities. The worksheet walks them through translating back and forth between the identities and sin/cos. Then, they work on rearranging the Pythagorean identities.
On the second page, students simplify one and two step problems where all they have to do is convert to sine and cosine and cancel.
If your students struggle with the fraction aspect I would consider using my fraction review sheet
along with this worksheet.
If your students tend to know what to do...but not how to do it I would suggest looking at this worksheet
that gives them step by step hints on how to solve the problems until they can solve and simplify on their own.
