Use this End of the Year Memory Book Activity from the first day of school and throughout the year, or as a culminating activity over the last week or two of school to stir conversation of the memories of the year! Students complete these pages on their own and include writing and drawing examples of events throughout the year.
This makes a perfect end of the year keepsake to send home with students as your gift to them.
Pages included are:
Memory Book Cover (labeled with years 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018 *just added 7/16/16, and a blank year line), My First Day of School, My Teacher (one for male, one for female), About Me, More About Me, My School, My Classroom, My Classmates (duplicate as needed for students to draw a picture of each classmate - 9 spots per page), Lunch and Recess Time, Interview a Friend, 100th Day of School, Fall Fun, Field Day, Winter Wonders, Spring Pleasures, A Letter to My Future Me, Next Year, and A Note from My Teacher (3 options: write one yourself, use the standard pre-addressed letter, or use the standard but personalize with your name and student name).
None of the pages are numbered, so you have the flexibility of using as many or as few of the sheets as you have time for students to complete.
Simply staple the book along the side (space has been left for this) or place in a folder to give to students at the end of the year.
