These Beginning and Ending Diagraphs puzzles are a fun hands-on approach to teaching your students about diagraphs sounds. For extra sturdiness, copy the pages onto heavy card stock and laminate. You will need to cut the pieces apart. Depending on the ability of your students, you can choose to use 1, 2, 3, or 4 scoops of ice cream for each letter. The students will put the ice cream cones together by matching the pictures to the beginning and ending sounds. You can use these in small center groups or they can even be sent home for homework.
