Fun literacy activity to teach and practice the initial and final sounds in words. This is a great station/center activity to provide students with hands on practice of this important skill. This activity comes with pictures cards that have 3 pictures on, letter cards, and a worksheet. Print, laminate, cut apart, and it is ready to use! With this activity, you have students match pictures beginning sound with the correct letter. For example, the picture card has a cat, corn, candy picture and students it with the letter c. This is the same for the ending sounds. Then have students complete worksheet as assessment or additional initial/final sounds practice. This activity can be self checking by writing the letter match on the back of the picture cards.
