This is a 39 slide, highly animated, power point presentation on Civics, The Order of Instruction for Middle School that covers the entire school year. It is broken down in quarters so you can use it often during the year. All of the slides are editable so you can modify the slides if you need to.
This outline of the course content for a Middle School Civics class includes all the Florida Civics Benchmarks for 7th grade. It is divided up by quarters in order of classroom presentation; however, the slides are editable and can be reordered to meet your curriculum.
The individual slides address the benchmarks that are covered on the Civics portion of the Florida Standards Assessment. The presentation concludes with 5 slides on economics, which is not part of the Florida Assessment Exam.
I have used this at the beginning of the school year to introduce both my colleagues and students to the content that will be covered. The slides are very colorful so as to keep the attention of those wonderful middle school students!
