Start the year with an icebreaker game that includes everything you need to make a fun student-made display. After playing a getting to know the class game, students make stick figure self portraits to display with their "about me" statements from the game. The stick figures are made to line up holding hands with a cute banner that says "Our Class Sticks Together."
* Directions to a fun chain icebreaker game (students share about themselves after repeating what other students have shared in the order spoken)
* Stick figures for students to decorate as self portraits with cut out lines to line up figures as a chain holding hands (could display in the hall, along the chalkboard, bulletin board, or from ceiling)
* two versions of text boxes for students to write their unique "about me" statement from the game (students can fill out the blank copy about them self or use the template to fill out about another classmate)
* 2 banners that read "Our Class Sticks Together" and "We Played a Game Sharing about Ourselves & this is What Our Classmates Said:"
Positive feedback and ratings are greatly appreciated!
