Product Description
Keep your kindergarten parents "in the loop" for how their child is doing at the beginning of the year and prevent surprises on student report cards!

I have a lot of bus students. As a result, I have found a need for easy and effective communication with parents to help make the limited time we see each other in conferences extra valuable. Parents find this valuable as they have something to take home and reflect upon after the conference. These two forms have helped me greatly in this process.

Great start to the year: to be sent home before the interview
Included:
* name* has had a great start!
* new friends made
* centers played at
* guess what?

This page I find to be very helpful to send home before parent/teacher conferences. It prevents a lot of “filler” conversations that all parents really want to know about their child and sets them at ease before they come in to talk about their child. In the “guess what” section I like to include something special that we have noticed about their child.

Conference Sheet:
Included:
* language (letter ID, letters, sounds, words, oral, running record, writing, reading)
* math
* personal & social development
* arts
* health & physical education
* sciences
* participation
* making friends
* next steps

This tool helps you jot down a snapshot of your students for parents to see. It is really easy to use. Underline, highlight or circle what applies if there are options. Fill in the blank or check mark what applies to the child in other sections. Photocopy and send home with parents so they can remember what you had discussed together during the conference.

This product is also included in these two bundles! Kindergarten Start Up Bundle and Kindergarten Start Up Bundle & Assessment Bonus {Ontario FDK}
