This beginning of the year fine motor skills project was designed with the Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten Student in mind. This project will assist you as you work with your students to build tracing shape skills, tracing lines skills, and cutting fine motor skills. This project can be used for guided practice, with the adult modeling proper pencil and scissor grips. After students have been introduced to and are comfortable with the task many of these practice worksheets can be use as an independent center.
Included in this set:
**Black and white student activity sheets
**Black and white student practice sheets
Recommended tips for center mats:
**I recommend running the mats on card-stock.
**I also recommend lamination for durability.
**I provide students with dry eraser markers and erasers at centers.
I would appreciate your feedback, so if you would please go to your My Purchases page. Beside each purchase you'll see a Provide Feedback button. Simply click it and you will be taken to a page where you can give a quick rating and leave a short comment for the product. Each time you give feedback, TPT gives you feedback credits that you use to lower the cost of your future purchases. I value your feedback greatly as it will help me to decide which projects that I will develop that will be of the most value as you work with your students.
