This Beginning Sounds Games packet includes 4 different games.
Game 1: Clip-It (32 cards)Laminate the cards and then cut them on the dotted lines. Each card should be individual. Students need to put a paper clip or clothes pin on the letter for the beginning sound of the picture.
Game 2: Pictures Beginning Sounds (4 boards)
Laminate each board. The students need to place the letter on the picture that begins with that beginning sound. You can also use plastic letters instead of the paper ones. If you laminate the boards, another option is to have the students write the letters over each picture.
Game 3: Beginning Sounds Puzzle (4 puzzles A-Z)
Cut all of the puzzle pieces. Students need to match the correct letter puzzle piece to the correct picture with that beginning sound. You can also write the same number on the back of each corresponding piece so students can check their work. For example, you would write 1 on the back of Aa piece and apple piece, write a 2 on the back of the Bb piece and balloon, etc.
Game 4: Write-it and Wipe-it Boards (52 cards)
Laminate the cards and cut them out. Students need to use a marker to write the beginning sound for each picture.
