Product Description

Behavior Bingo is the perfect game to discuss expected and unexpected behavior with your students in special education.

This product includes:

*20 unique bingo boards (20 in COLOR and 20 in BLACKLINE) with 34 expected/unexpected behaviors: Biting Toy, Doing Work, Feet to Self, Hands in Lap, Hands to Self, Helping Hands, Holding Toy, Sitting in Chair, Inside Voice, Pointing to Visual, Not Spitting, Raising Hand, Reading, Sitting Nicely, Talking Face to Face, Walking in Hall, Walking, Biting People, Crying, Hitting, Kicking, Not Raising Hand, Not Reading, Laying on Floor, Pinching, Pushing, Running in Hall, Running, Scratching, Spitting, Throwing Work, Ripping Work, Touching People, Yelling

*Expected/Unexpected place markers (in COLOR and BLACK & WHITE)

*Word calling cards

*Picture and word calling cards (in COLOR and BLACKLINE)

Play bingo by calling out the word or showing the picture on each calling card. Students will determine whether what was called is an expected or unexpected behavior and put the appropriate place marker on each picture they have on their card. Students will shout “bingo!” when they get five expected behaviors in a row.

Other ways to play/extension activities:

Rather than stopping the game at 5 in a row, play “Blackout”. The first student to cover all the spaces on their bingo board wins!

Use generic place markers (e.g., a plastic manipulative, a piece of candy, or a piece of cereal) to play regular bingo.

Allow students to color the blackline bingo boards prior to playing the game.

Print a double set of calling cards and use them to play a memory matching game! I find this works better in small groups rather than a full class.

Use the calling cards to discuss and sort the expected and unexpected behaviors into two piles.
