When I needed to fine tune my child's"attitude and tone" at home, I wanted to fuse a love of technology with a behavior chart. After removing tech privileges, I put pictures of 4 tech favs (ipad, itouch, Wii, and computer) in boxes at the top. When I caught good attitude and tone, the child earned a point to spend on the behavior chart. The child decided where to spend the point and what to earn back first, next, etc. It worked like a charm. I have also used it as a classroom management tool for students needing an extra boost or behavior modification. They pick rewards appropriate for school---extra computer time, a game with the counselor, helper to another classroom, etc. I included a blank "I can" statement and different numbers of boxes for rewards (or earning back) and points needed. I've even had parents ask to use it at home.
